Lyndi Coles and Jocelyn Smith met at Utah Valley University in the modern dance program. Together they have performed on UVU’s Synergy Dance Company and Contemporary Dance Ensemble. They have worked with various choreographers such as Monica Campbell, Daniel Charon, Natosha Washington, Stephen Koester, and Bradley Michaud. After performing a duet together at the National American College Dance Festival, choreographed by Sarah Donohue, they decided to create coleSmith dance company where they could continue to create and perform together.
