Heather Francis – MA Candidate at Wayne State University in Dance and Theatre Teaching Artistry –is a dance teaching artist and math educator from Holladay, Utah. She is the Artistic Co-Director of BYU Kinnect Dance Company and Arts Bridge Director at the BYU Arts Partnership. Heather directed the dance and dance integrated math programs at Granite Park Jr. High School, a Title I school in South Salt Lake City from 2013-2017 and teaches creative dance at South Valley Creative Dance in Sandy. Heather has performed with Body Logic Dance Company, Ashley Anderson Dances and the Dance Teacher Exchange and choreographs and teaches Azonto African dance workshops at local high schools. She serves on the UDEO board as the Publicity and Advocacy Director, as chair of the daCi Utah Board and as Member at Large on the daCi USA board.
